ATLANTA -- Now that most of the severe weather is pushing out of the state, Georgia Power is reporting about 7,100 power outages as of 12:15 Thursday morning.

Georgia EMCs is reporting another 7,900 outages around the state, with most of their outages reported in metro Atlanta. 

Both utility systems were expecting outages in the wake of the storms across the state.
