FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga – A large tree fell on a mobile home Monday morning, as a brief tornado touched down in Forsyth County.
The tornado, which the National Weather Service classified as an EF0, formed at 10:28 am as a line of storms moved through Georgia.
The tornado first formed along McConnell Road, breaking tree limbs and branches.
It then moved across Bridgeshaw Drive and Watson Road before intensifying along Pleasant Grove Road. The tornado uprooted seven to eight large trees, one of which fell on the mobile home.
The tornado then dissipated after traveling a little more than two miles. Its peak wind reached 80 mph.
