Trick-or-treat forecast in Atlanta | What to expect for Halloween weather

Many parents are wondering if they need to dress their trick-or-treaters in a coat and gloves. 

It's been quite cold lately and with Halloween upon us, many parents are wondering if they need to dress their trick-or-treaters in a coat and gloves. Stormtracker Chesley McNeil said how cold it is will depend on the timing of when you head out.

Early trick-or-treaters will enjoy highs around 68 degrees around 4 p.m. but as the sun begins to set, temps. will drop.

The sun sets at 6:46 p.m. when temperatures will begin to fall to about 65 degrees. They'll continue to fall throughout the night, dropping to 62 degrees by 7 p.m.

Also, if you're out walking in the dark, remember to wear reflective clothes.
