ATLANTA -- It's not quite Spring yet, but the pollen count has already begun to rise.

Thursday's pollen count reached 269 -- well more than doubling the previous day's 100 count.

Atlanta Allergy & Asthma said these are the main culprits:

Tree pollen (extremely high): Juniper, Pine, Elm, Birch, Maple

Weeds (high): Sheep Sorrell, Ragweed.

11Alive's Chris Holcomb said that it's just beginning. We should see counts in the 1000s soon, Chris said.
