The Atlanta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is celebrating their 60th Anniversary of "Creating a Legacy of Literacy." As members of one of the nation's most venerable organizations dedicated to educating and empowering children, they take their responsibilities seriously and are driven to meet the needs of Atlanta's children. Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is a national non-profit organization of African-American mothers who nurture future leaders by strengthening children ages 2-19 through chapter programming, community service, legislative advocacy and philanthropic giving. Since its inception in 1951, the Atlanta Chapter has held the belief that every child, with proper guidance and opportunity, can be a leader.
