A digitized Kevin Spacey joins 'Call of Duty' franchise

(WXIA) – Fans of the hit series "House of Cards" know that Kevin Spacey's anti-hero, Congressman Frank Underwood, plays Call of Duty on his Xbox to wind down after a long day on Capitol Hill.

Now, Spacey – channeling Underwood – is, himself, appearing in Call of Duty.

In a new trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, Spacey talks about democracy not being what people want. As he opines about democracy, scenes of warfare captured from the Xbox One version of the game play on.

Near the end of the ad, a digitized Spacey says, "You give them that, and they'll follow – and that's where I come in."

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare is set to be released November 4.
