Jenn Hobby is living the dream.
"From an early age I was always interacting with radio, she said.
As a child Hobby would stay up late tracking the top songs of the day. She grew up to be one of Atlanta's most loved radio stars just by being herself.
Before going solo on Kick 101.5 she worked with every one from 11alive's Fred McFarlin to the crew at "The Bert Show."
"It was amazing and phenomenal and then it was just time to grow up and do something on my own," she explained.
Now she's a city girl gone country on Kicks 101.5.
"She knows just as much about it as the rest of us do. I've been here at Kicks for twenty years," said Cadillac Jack,
Her popularity stems from more than the songs she plays. She shares stories about her life.
"Having a child is the best thing that has ever happened to me," she said.
Hobby is also involved in a number of charities, including Cooking Matters of Georgia.
"Cooking Matters teaches children and lower income families how to cook fresh food so we can get away from processed foods and make sure we are eating healthier," she said.
Regardless of radio format, Hobby aspires to be the same person on the air or off.
"It's all one in the same it's just one life. We share our lives on the air and that's the beauty of radio to be able to share your life and know every body is going through the same things," she said.
