ATLANTA - Rasheeda Frost wears many hats, fashionable ones included. She's an entrepreneur and CEO of a fashion boutique, a reality star on Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta, social media influencer, hip hop artist, wife and mother of two. Although she's a celebrity, she said she still carries the concerns of many working mothers.
One of those concerns is returning back to work when kids are young.
"Although we hate to depart from our children at an early age, and it hurts mommies so much...it's inevitable," she said to 11Alive's Ryan Dennis.
Frost said she and other working mothers have to persevere and make it work.
"As a working mom, we have to get our thoughts and emotions together, gear up, get ready and begin to balance motherhood and work in order to continue to move forward."
She also posted a video of her doing handstand pushups. In the video you can hear her son cheering her on saying "Mom, that's so cool! Mom how did you do that."
Rasheeda will be on Morning Rush Wednesday starting at 5 a.m. talking with 11Alive's Shiba Russell and Myra Sky about returning to work after having her son all while building her business and watching their lives play out on reality TV.
