Georgia Tech recently released a report on emerging cyber threats, trends and technologies.
And the forecast is not good, saying “privacy and technology are on a collision course with no clear solution.”
The report looked at vulnerabilities in the e-voting system, smart devices and cities, the rise of ransomware and the political motivations behind "information censoring, gathering and manipulation" among a host of other security and privacy concerns. For the full report CLICK HERE.
A comedian's inside-the-perimeter joke isn't sitting well with Atlanta officials. Ben Palmer created this Facebook page to poke fun at the city, after he says he received one too many tickets.
The parody page shows the City of Atlanta seal and includes some outrageous posts mocking the divide between the rich and the poor.
Palmer says before he knew it, the page had received more than 12-thousand likes. But while palmer says the page is meant to be satire... The city of Atlanta is taking the matter seriously.
On Wednesday, 11 Alive received a statement saying:
"the owner of the satirical city Facebook page was not authorized to use the city's trademark. We are working with Facebook to remove the city seal and any other information on the Facebook page that might confuse or mislead the public." READ MORE

YuppTV, a leader in over the top video for south Asian content, just brought in a $50 million investment. Emerald media announced it bought a significant minority stake in the Atlanta-based company.
