When Robin Williams went on 'The Tonight Show,' it was comedy magic

We're all reeling from the tragic news that gifted actor and comedianRobin Williams committed suicide on Monday.

While we mourn this great loss to the entertainment world, let's take a few minutes and look back at Williams in his prime during a couple of his appearances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.

Williams first appeared on Carson's show in 1981, at the height of his Mork & Mindy popularity.

(Williams also wrote a beautiful appreciation piece in The New York Times after Winters' death in 2013.) Here, the two joined up on Carson's set in 1991, and hilarity ensued.
