 9 – The Mackinac Bridge, Michigan: Cars have gone off the edge of the bridge, which is along the northernmost reaches of Interstate 75. A Ford Bronco went off the edge in 1997 in an accident that was ruled a suicide, but a Yugo that went over the edge in 1989 was actually picked up and blown off of the span more than 500 feet to the waters of the Mackinac Straits below.
