Scleroderma Foundation

Friday July 31^st our very own traffic guru Jim Basile and his family will be hosting two fundraising events in memory of Jim's youngest sister, Kathleen Basile, who passed away earlier this year from scleroderma. The Kathleen Basile Memorial Golf Tournament starts at noon at Chateau Élan, and Broadway's After the Show starts at 7:30pm at Killian Hall in Lilburn. There will be food, dancing, music, raffles and more. Proceeds from the event benefit the Scleroderma Foundation. Scleroderma is a rare, chronic autoimmune disease which affects an estimated 300,000 Americans, primarily females who are 30-50 years of age. The mission of the Scleroderma Foundation is to provide support and education to patients and their families. The Scleroderma Foundation also strives to improve treatment options and to ultimately find a cure for Scleroderma and related diseases.
