ATLANTA -- A handful of Atlanta Falcons traded passing a football for passing the plate to those in need for one night.
Fullback Patrick DiMarco and other Falcons were at the Atlanta Mission's Shepherd's Inn Monday night to provide a catered Thanksgiving meal for 125 men from the facility. The Sherpherd's Inn provides overnight shelter, job programming and transitional housing for men who are homeless and in need.
The event was all part of the team's commitment to giving back to local organizations and families who need it this holiday season.
The Falcons fullback and other players was on hand to serve food, take photos and sign autographs throughout the evening.
