Children's Healthcare employees read messages of thanks

ATLANTA – The opposite of a mean Tweet. That was the goal of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta when they put together a Thanksgiving video.

They had employees read aloud posts written about them on Facebook. In the video, each person is handed a phone and asked to read what’s on it, without knowing it’s about them.

One man is thanked for his four-year friendship with a young boy who passed away. A woman is thanked by a former patient for helping her learn to walk again with prosthetics. A doctor is thanked by a mother who lost her child. Another woman is told that her service dog Izzy was the bright spot in her daughter’s time in the hospital.

Be radical. Be kind. Happy Thanksgiving.
