'Krazy' camp serves kids with spina bifida

(WXIA) -- Kids can do things at camp that would drive their parents crazy -- especially at one Atlanta-based camp that has "krazy" in the name.

Camp Krazy Legs is for kids with spina bifida, a neural tube defect of the spinal cord. At this camp, crazy is common, and hospital stays are a fact of life.

While their disabilities make them stand out in the real world, the patients are just kids at the camp -- kids who are expected to get the ball and make the basket.

And all the campers at this Children's Healthcare of Atlanta-sponsored camp learn a very important life lesson -- legs that don't work don't have to hold them back.
