Rare (and adorable) panda triplets born

GUANGZHOU, CHINA-- There's only a 1-percent chance for a Giant Panda to give birth to triplets. It happened last month in China, but the cubs had their coming out party on Tuesday.

Twelve-year-old Giant Panda Ju Xiao gave birth to the triplets at the South China Zoo. The delivery for all three took about three hours. They each weigh between 2.2 and 2.3 pounds. All of the cubs are in good health and expected to survive.

Zoo keepers will learn the gender of the cubs in about a month.
