Nashville residents making a Tuesday night run to Target found themselves running straight into Taylor Swift. And hanging out.

Nashville residents making a Tuesday night run to Target found themselves running straight into Taylor Swift. And hanging out.

Swift, known for her particularly personal interaction with fans, chronicled the store visit in her Instagram Stories.

"We always have this tradition of going to Target to go buy the album, and so we're going to go do that," Swift told her Instagram followers before heading to the West Nashville store on White Bridge Road.

Inside, she approached fans and engaged with them as they approached her, signing albums and FaceTiming with fans' friends who couldn't make it to the store.

"I live across the street and just came to get this for dinner," said a man in one of the videos as he stood next to Swift, holding a jar of spaghetti sauce and his phone while FaceTiming friends in Kentucky. "And that happened."

"She's just shopping out here, chillin' on White Bridge," said one woman who was talking to someone on her cellphone as Swift's Instagram account documented the conversation.

A man identified as "Zach," showed her a video of his band performing one of her songs when they were on "The X Factor" several years ago. "Only in Nashville," Swift — or her delegate — captioned the video.

Another man was shown holding up a picture taken of he and Swift on her "Fearless" tour, which took place in 2009 and 2010.

"We were babies!" they both squealed.

In a video of Swift signing an album for a young girl in the store, a small boy reminded the girl that the moment was something she had dreamed about.

"It's just, it's what you wanted, Callie," the boy said.

"Oh my gosh, you're adorable," Swift said to the boy. "That was really sweet."

Swift apparently even approached shoppers who were reluctant to strike up a conversation.

"Hi, how's it going?" Swift can be heard saying in one of the videos. "You can talk to me if you want."

She even brought one of the Target employees over to be in one of the videos.

In her final Instagram video of the excursion, she notes she is FaceTiming yet another fan's friends.

"Target is really, really very...it's very social right now," Swift said.
