Police are searching the building.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. — The lockdown at a Fayette County elementary school was lifted Monday afternoon as police continue to investigate reports of a suspicious person that walked into the building.

Fayetteville Police confirmed the precautionary lockdown at Spring Hill Elementary School was lifted on their Facebook page after searching the building for the suspect.
