Man attacks, robs 6 women in 6 days arrested during traffic stop

Two women were attacked December 4 and four on December 10.

He's accused of following women to their homes, then attacking them and stealing their belongings.

Gwinnett County Police said Boris Demarcus Bell, 33, of Lawrenceville, robbed and physically assaulted six women within a span of six days. Two of the women were attacked on December 4 and four on December 10.

Police said all the attacks were similar. The women returned home, got out of their vehicles, walked to their home then were physically assaulted by Bell. Police said Bell then took their purses and other items.

Police believe Bell followed each woman home after they went grocery shopping or went out to pick up food.

Shortly after the two robberies that occurred on December 4, Bell was seen on surveillance video trying to use one of the women's credit card at the Kroger at 950 Herrington Road in unincorporated Lawrenceville.

The lead detective learned that Bell may have been driving a green or teal Buick LeSabre. On December 12, officers saturated the area where the attacks happened to located the car.
Shortly after 7am, the car was found on Old Norcross Road near Boggs Road. Police pulled Bell over and he was arrested and taken to Gwinnett County Jail.

"The detectives assigned to this crime series worked hard to piece all the events together and gather surveillance images on the possible suspect. The patrol officers are also to be commended for their dedication in locating this violence offender," Gwinnett County Police said in a press release.
