RIVERDALE, Ga. — The Clayton County Police Department has issued a Mattie's Call for a missing 21-year-old who hasn't been seen since Jan. 9.
Family reported Phillip Dailey, Jr. missing around 7 p.m. after they were unable to find him after searching for several hours. Family said he walked outside his home in the 600 block of Briar Hill Lane around 10 a.m. Tuesday to empty the trash, but no one has seen or heard from him since.
Family told police Dailey, Jr. has severe mental retardation, but is not on medication. His mother said he is not a threat to himself or others, but he does not communicate well.
Dailey, Jr. is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 145 lbs.
