Black ice caused wreck with police SUV and sedan

According to police, the officer may have suffered a broken arm and the other driver may have a head injury.

SOUTH FULTON, Ga. - Police are investigating after one of their officer got into a wreck with a sedan on Pleasant Hill Road and Old National Highway, right in front of the Pleasant Hill Condominiums.

According to police, the officer black ice caused the wreck between the police SUV and the sedan.

The officer may have suffered a broken arm and the driver of the sedan may have suffered a head injury. Both were transported to an area hospital.

11Alive has crews that were at the scene reported seeing a great deal of ice still on the roadway.

A resident at the condominiums says they were getting ready for work when they heard a loud crash outside.
