ATLANTA - Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place late Monday night.
After 10:00 p.m., officers received reports of shots fired on the 1900 block of Handley Avenue, SW. When they arrived to the scene, they found a silver Nissan Maxima still running and shell casings in the street.
Police requested additional units to help canvass the area and were able to locate a deceased man, later identified as 33-year-old Sheddrick Harris, in a wooded area suffering from a gunshot wound.
According to witnesses, a dispute is what caused the incident.
Police have no suspects at this time and are asking anyone who may have information about this shooting to please contact Atlanta PD.
