FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -- Investigators are trying to work out what led up to a woman dying in the hospital, days after she was found inside her home with a critical head injury.

On Aug. 3, police say 45-year-old Joya Chester was found injured inside a home on White City Road in College Park. She was taken to Grady Hospital, but died about a week later on Aug. 11. The exact nature of her injuries is unknown.

Police are now trying to track down a mystery man who they say met Chester inside the home before she was found dead.

Investigators don't have many details on who the man is, only that he was described as a 6-foot-1, heavy-set man with twists in his hair and a small goatee on his face.

Police said the man is known to hang around the area of Roosevelt Highway and White City Road and drives a light-blue, two-door Mercedes-Benz coupe.

If anyone has information related to the murder of Joya Chester, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or Fulton County Police at 404-613-6600.
