Prospects from Georgia colleges were impressive at the NFL Combine on Friday, and they weren't just from the University of Georgia.

Out of the 336 NFL prospects who will run drills in front of teams and scouts in an effort to increase their draft status, Bulldogs running back Nick Chubb will come out as one of the most consistent prospects who is near the top of the rankings in every category.

After doing 29 reps in the bench bench, Chubb ran a 4.52 in the 40-yard dash and jumped 38.5 inches in the vertical jump. His 40 ranks inside the top 10 among running backs and his vertical jump ranks fourth. His broad jump of 128 inches ranks second.

His former teammate Sony Michel was a tad slower at the 40 in his first run, but picked up the pace on his second run clocking at 4.54.

N.C. State's Nyheim Hines finished with the best 40 time on Friday at 4.39 seconds.

Another Georgian making headlines is offensive lineman Desmond Harrison from the University of West Georgia. Harrison, who is 6-foot-6 and 288 pounds, finished his second run with an unofficial time of 4.75 seconds. If it holds, it's the third-fastest 40-yard dash for an offensive lineman since 2006.

Harrison has also been strong in the drills, and there are reports that the scouts have taken notice. West Georgia's Dylan Donahue and Alex Armah were the first players to be drafted out of the school last spring.
