The Atlanta Hawks' season schedule is out.

The NBA released all of the teams' schedules on Monday.

While it will be a rebuild year for the Hawks, there are still plenty of interesting matchups coming up. Plus, the Hawks will open up a renovated Philips Arena. The Hawks home court is undergoing a $190 million renovation.

Here are a few quick interesting facts about the Hawks schedule:

  • The Hawks begin the season with five straight road games, beginning with the Dallas Mavericks on Oct. 18.
  • Their second game of the season will be on Oct. 20 against the Charlotte Hornets. It will be their first time going up against Dwight Howard since he was traded following his one-year homecoming in Atlanta.
  • The Hawks' home opener is Oct. 27, when all the new features at Philips Arena will be on display, such as the court-side bar and barber shop.
  • The Hawks' home opener is also against the Denver Nuggets, which means former power forward Paul Millsap will be right back on the court in Atlanta. Paul Millsap signed a $90 million contract in free agency with the Nuggets this off season.
  • The Hawks will face the Washington Wizards four times this season, beginning on Nov. 11. The Wizards beat the Hawks in the first round of the playoffs last season. John Wall, who was a thorn in the Hawks' side, signed a $170 supermax extension this off season.
  • A weird stretch of the schedule is in December where the Hawks will face the same two teams twice in a nine-day span. They face the Nets on Dec. 2 and 4, followed by the the Magic on Dec. 6 and 9.
  • There are 15 instances this season where the Hawks will play on back-to-back days, affecting 30 games.
  • The Hawks visit the Lakers on Jan 7. It could be a new rivalry across conferences considering the video game picture debacle between rookie John Collins and Brandon Ingram. It's also their first look at Lonzo Ball (and hopefully not LaVar Ball).
  • The Hawks will host the NBA Champion Golden State Warriors at Philips Arena on March 2. They'll see them again on the road on March 23.
