ATLANTA — The Atlanta Hawks and their head coach have parted ways, the team announced Wednesday night.
Mike Budenholzer and the team came to the agreement mutually, the Hawks said in a statement.
Budenholzer was named Hawks head coach May 28, 2013.
In his five seasons with Atlanta, he compiled a record of 213-197 during the regular season and 17-22 during the postseason. The Hawks were an Eastern Conference-worst 24-28 this season, the Associated Press reports.
