Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan and his wife Sarah welcomed twin boys, Marshall Thomas Ryan and John Matthew Ryan.
The announcement was made via an Instagram post from Sarah, who said the boys were born six weeks after she was placed on hospital rest due to complications in early January.
Ryan missed a practice around that same time in January prior to the team's NFC Playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles, which they lost 15-10. At the time, Ryan declined to comment on the reason, saying it was a private matter.
After time in the neonatal intensive care unit at Northside Hospital, Marshall and Johnny are at home with their proud parents.
Ryan shared several pictures of his sons on his Instagram.
