The second of the week of the Olympics is underway, and Team USA already has more medals to show for it.

There were some great moments last night, like the 'Shib Sibs' ice dancing their way onto the podium. But there were also some strange moments, like an Olympian not doing one trick on the halfpipe. How does that happen?

Luckily we stay up and watch everything to find out. Here are a few things you missed overnight:

1) 'Shib Sibs' take home the bronze

Alex and Maia Shibutani amazed the crowd in PyeongChang for the second night in a row to win the bronze medal in ice dancing.

The Shibutani's did their free skate to the Coldplay song "Paradise" and received a score of over 114. That put their combined score up to 192.59. They took the lead, but they were bumped to third after the French couple of Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron moved up to first, then Canada's Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir gave the final performance of the night and won the gold medal.

While they should be happy with bronze, it begs the question...Do they get judged differently because they are siblings?

2) Brita has her own bronze

In her second Olympics, freeskier Brita Sigourney won her first medal.

Sigourney scored a 91.60 in her final run of the women's halfpipe to take the bronze. Canadian Cassie Sharpe won gold (95.80) and Marie Martinod of France took silver (92.60)

3) Bowman falls 3 times

Maddie Bowman fell three times in a row on the women's freestyle skiing halfpipe final on Monday, ending any chance for the American to add another gold medal to her collection.

No matter what she did, she couldn't land her final trick. On her last attempt, she came down too low and hit the snow hard. The top layer of her helmet popped off as well as one of her skis. She laid on the snow for several seconds before finally getting up.

As she skied off, she closed her eyes tight, attempting to keep the tears from falling.

But she received plenty of support. See that here.

4) Here's how anyone can be an Olympian

Elizabeth Swaney is the freestyle skier who began trending after not doing one trick in the halfpipe competition. The 33-year-old, who was born in the United States but is part of Team Hungary, went down the halfpipe by going up and down each side while doing virtually no tricks. She reached little amplitude and did nothing with any sort of difficulty.

It was the same routine that got Swaney to the Olympics. So how'd she get there? Here's the loophole.

5) U.S. men's hockey team moves on

The U.S. men's hockey team beet the Slovakia 5-1 in their first knockout game overnight.

Ryan Donato scored two goals and continues to be the MVP for the American team that is without any NHL players.

The Americans move on to the quarterfinals. Here's who they'll play.
