The Georgia Bulldogs are in the College Football Playoff.

The College Football Playoff Committee released its final rankings on Sunday after a busy Championship Saturday.

The Committee ranked the Bulldogs No. 3 after their 28-7 win over the Auburn Tigers in the SEC Championship on Saturday. That means the Bulldogs will play in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. on New Year's Day.

The Bulldogs will play the Oklahoma Sooners, who are led by the Heisman Trophy favorite Baker Mayfield.

"To go play against another storied program in Oklahoma, I have a tremendous respect for what Lincoln (Riley)," Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said on ESPN after the rankings were revealed.

As for facing the likely Heisman Trophy winner, Smart admitted his team faces a challenge.

"He's unbelievable talented, seems like he's been playing forever, and he's what college football's about," Smart said. "He's a phenomenal player that we'll probably get to see, have a lot of sleepless nights over the next 30 days or so."

The committee ranked Clemson No. 1, Oklahoma No. 2, Georgia No. 3 and Alabama No. 4.

The fourth slot was controversial because Ohio State was the Big Ten Champion, but they had two losses in the regular season. Alabama only had one blemish during the regular season, losing to Auburn, but that loss kept them out of the conference championship. But ultimately it didn't matter.

Clemson and Alabama will play in the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans on New Year's Day.
