ATLANTA -- Could Amazon's HQ2 bring more traffic to Atlanta roads? A survey by Elon University suggests that residents are OK with that.

The Atlanta Business Chronicle and other business journals have partnered with several cities to see what each would be willing to do in order to land Atlanta's second headquarters. Whichever city gets the tech giant's second home can expect a massive employment boost - up to 50,000 employees.

Here are the deadliest highways and roads in Ga.

What does Georgia’s new transportation bill mean for you?

Atlanta's Spaghetti Junction ranked #1 for Top 100 Bottlenecks in U.S.

But fears are that it would also bring heavy traffic to already-congested streets and interstates across the area. That's fine to many Atlanta residents who responded for a total of about 11.6 minutes added to their daily round trip commute.

That sacrifice is less surprising when compared to other data collected for the survey - like the fact that 52 percent of represents claimed to "strongly support" Amazon locating in Atlanta with another 32 percent "somewhat" supporting.

Still, Atlanta isn't the only one hoping to get HQ2 by any traffic-challenged means possible. Miami would be willing to drive for another 13.4 minutes.
