STEPHENS COUNTY, Ga. -- Drugs, guns and vehicles were seized after a three-month investigation in Stephens County, authorities said.
According to the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, 40-year-old Ronald James Savage and 37-year-old Carey Lee Wilbanks, both of Toccoa, Ga. were arrested on Monday after authorities executed a search warrant at Savage's home on Long Circle.
Approximately 180 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a quantity of alpagrazolam packaged for distribution and some marijuana were seized. The street value of those drugs was said to be around $18,000.
Ten firearms and four vehicles were also seized by authorities.
Savage and Wilbanks are charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of schedule IV with intent to distribute, and Possession of firearm in the commission of a felony. They were transported to Stephens County Detention Center.
