SPALDING COUNTY, Ga. -- A Spalding County teacher has been arrested on charges of sexual misconduct, the Spalding County Sheriff's Department said Tuesday.
Jamario Antuan Smith, 26, of Forsyth, was charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sodomy, all of which are felony charges, a news release from the Sheriff's Department said.
The allegations were reportedly made by a female student at the school.
Smith reportedly worked as a physical education teacher at Spalding High School. The incident reportedly happened in May.
