ATLANTA -- Students of all ages are protesting HOPE Scholarship cuts outside the State Capitol on Monday.
College students marched from Georgia State University to the Gold Dome for a noon rally. Afterwards, students hoped to lobby state senators. Gov. Deal's HOPE scholarship bill was overwhelmingly approved by the House last week.

A separate group of elementary, middle and high school students will demonstrate at the capitol later this afternoon.
Dejah Ault, a junior at Arabian Mountain, has scheduled a press conference with her peers at 4:30 p.m. and candlelight vigil that will run until midnight.
"We students are beginning to feel defeated. Don't defund our future," she said in a statement. "I have so much to give, but not without HOPE. Invest in me. I'm worth it."
Deal's HOPE Scholarship bill could hit the Senate floor as early as Tuesday.
