ATLANTA -- An Atlantan has been named America's "Top Chef" by the Bravo cable television network.
Chef Richard Blais took home the title of Top Chef: All Stars Wednesday night, redeeming himself after narrowly missing out on victory during an earlier season of the show, Top Chef: Chicago.
"I didn't think I could do this," Blais said moments after being named Top Chef. "Where there's a will there's a way. I willed this."
Hundreds of his fans cheered him on during a viewing of the big finale at the Buckhead Theatre Wednesday night. See pictures of the party on 11Alive's sister site Metromix Atlanta.
With the victory, Blais takes home $200,000 to put towards opening his dream restaurant and the chance to be featured in a leading industry magazine.
Blais and the other finalist, Michael Isabella, were challenged to create their own "dream restaurant" menu in the season finale of Top Chef All Stars. Each finalist was aided by the other chefs who had already been eliminated from the competition.
Blais is known in Atlanta for FLIP Burger Boutique, two exotic burger restaurants - one in trendy West Midtown, the other in Buckhead.

He came in second place on Top Chef: Chicago after he admittedly strayed from his strengths. "I think my failures have served me well," Blais said during the show Wednesday night.
Blais was often considered the favorite to win Top Chef: All Stars since the season began. But he preferred to consider himself an underdog all the way up to the show's final episode.
