Dashcam video captures Derek Lowe's DUI Arrest

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Atlanta Braves pitcher Derek Lowe was arrested April 29 on a charge of DUI.

According to an email from the Georgia State Patrol, Lowe was also charged with reckless driving and improper lane change.

Georgia State Patrol spokesperson Gordy Wright said in the email that a trooper stopped Lowe's vehicle at about 10 p.m. (et) on Peachtree Road in Atlanta. A strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected and Lowe was arrested following a field sobriety test. Lowe refused a breath test.

After the arrest, Lowe was released to the City of Atlanta Pre-trial on the charges.
