ATLANTA -- Atlanta Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff will ride in the fourth annual Environs Residential BeltLine Bike Tour Saturday morning.

The ride begins at the Old Fourth Ward water tower at 659 Auburn Avenue at 10 a.m.

"The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition does a great job advocating for a more bike-friendly city. The BeltLine Bike Tour is an excellent way for people to get outside and experience Atlanta in a unique, and exciting way," Dimitroff in a release Friday. "I am a firm believer in the health benefits and physical merits of good fitness, specifically cycling. Through this event, people not only get a chance to see what a fantastic project the BeltLine is, but also get in a great workout."

The Beltline Bike Tour has three different lengths to allow all people of all ages and cycling skill levels to participate in the ride -- up to and through the entire 28-mile long full BeltLine Loop.

The BeltLine corridor has been growing and developing to connect 45 in-town neighborhoods with transit, parks, trails and a nature preserve -- all promoting a healthier, safer, cleaner community.
