LOS ANGELES - The Locust Grove couple whose wedding proposal went viral on YouTube appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday.
When Matthew Still decided he wanted to propose to his girlfriend Ginny Joyner, he knew he wanted to do something unique.
Still hired a professional videographer to make a fake movie trailer about his relationship with Joyner. He then called a local movie theater to arrange for the trailer to be shown on the screen while Ginny watched in surprise.
Joyner ultimately said "yes" to Still's proposal and the two have become a sensation on YouTube and in the media.
The "Greatest Marriage Proposal" ever has racked up over 14 million views.
Shortly after the proposal, the newly-engaged couple appeared on 11Alive News to talk with Brenda Wood.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show airs on 11Alive weekdays at 4 p.m.
