ATHENS, Ga. -- Several students, alumni and employees at UGA are fighting to save an historic dorm.
The group has started a petition to save Rutherford Hall.
The petition was posted two days ago, and so far, more than 190 signatures have been collected.
The group's goal is to get 500 signatures.
The president of the university, Michael Adams, has said he will make a decision soon on whether to renovate the dorm or tear it down and build a new one.
