ATLANTA-You wake up with him every morning on V-103, but now he wants to invite you to dinner.
Frank Ski opened a new restaurant in the heart of Buckhead.
"It's classic American, with a Frank Ski flare," he said.
From braised short ribs, to fish tacos- you'll be sure to find something that catches your eye.
One of his signature dishes- Maryland style crab-cakes. Ski brings the crabs from his home town Baltimore. His own mother even works with the chef to make sure they have just the right amount of seasoning.
Another hot item- the fried red snapper. Rumor is, you get a free vacation with it!
"Everyone loves that summery, island feeling," said head Chef Wesley Davenport. "This dish makes you feel like you're in the Bahamas somewhere...just chilling on a dock."
With every dish, a new experience, and a new chance to indulge in some of Frank's favorite things.
"The most unique thing about our restaurant is the DJ booth right in the middle of it," he said. "I'm a DJ and I'm on the radio, so I want people to understand that this restaurant is about a feeling and a lifestyle."
It's a lifestyle that customers get every time they walk into his restaurant.
"What better way to do it," he said. "I love wine and I love food. I love food and I love wine."
