DECATUR, Ga. -- A DeKalb County grand jury has returned an indictment against eight members of a suspected gang.
The DeKalb County prosecutors' office said Thursday that 66 criminal charges were filed against Tiunta Battle, Diamond Brooks, Paul Cargile, Larry Little, Demario Middlebrooks, Eureon Phillips, Titus Seals and Monquavious Thomas.
Prosecutors said they were members of the "2100 Gang."
The charges include armed robbery, solicitation to commit murder, false imprisonment, cruelty to children and aggravated assault of elderly victims. Attorneys for the suspects could not immediately be located.
DeKalb District Attorney Robert James said the gang "terrorized the community at large with a malicious intent to rob, steal and kill in DeKalb County."
