SANDY SPRINGS-- Pierce McCarthy explained the Buzz party at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic School simply: "They aren't taking any medicines, but they're having their hair sort of fall out just like me."

Seven-year-old Piece is eight weeks into a year-long treatment for cancer. Sarcoma was discovered in his right eye. Although he refuses to wear hats and only wears wigs as a joke, his dad says being the only bald one is hard. By the end of this buzz party, his bald head is just one in a sea of many.
