DECATUR, Ga. -- The defense team for the Georgia man accused of gunning down a young father outside a Dunwoody daycare is set to wrap up its case this week.

Hemy Neuman's trial was expected to last up to six weeks, but attorneys say it could go to the jury by the end of the week.

Prosecutors still must question a psychologist who says Neuman is not criminally responsible for the killing of Russell Sneiderman in November 2010.

Defense lawyers for Neuman contend their client was insane at the time of the shooting.

Forensic psychologist Adriana Flores told jurors Thursday that Neuman couldn't tell the difference between right and wrong during the shooting because he suffered from bipolar disorder and psychosis and had delusions.
