SMYRNA, Ga. (WXIA) -- Detectives with the Smyrna Police Department arrested William McIntyre, earlier this month, after a three week investigation into his exploits with a 14-year-old.

The investigation revealed that the 20-year-old Waleska man met his 14-year-old male victim at a local coffee shop and they began to swap texts and Facebook messages.

Some time later, McIntyre arranged to pick up the victim from his school bus stop to take him to a hotel; McIntyre molested the victim at the hotel. Detectives, them, took over the victims Facebook account and were able to apprehend McIntyre at a local coffee shop.

McIntye is being charged with Aggravated Child Molestation, Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes and Computer Pornography, which is classified as any obscene Internet contact with a child.
