Don and Marilyn Sneiderman say in the petition filed Wednesday in Fulton County Superior Court that their daughter-in-law Andrea has barred them from contacting the children.
Their attorney Randy Kessler declined further comment.
Andrea Sneiderman's attorney Doug Chalmers said Sneiderman is willing to schedule visits with the grandparents as she has done in the past.
Andrea Sneiderman's former boss Hemy Neuman was convicted last week in the November 2010 killing. Neuman was sentenced to life in prison without parole and is to receive mental health treatment.

Defense lawyers and prosecutors linked the shooting to an affair between the two. Andrea Sneiderman has denied an affair.
