STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- Members of the rap group SMG became the targets of thieves early Friday morning.
Group members say several masked men broke into their Stone Mountain home and took off with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of recording equipment and priceless unreleased music.
SMG was performing a concert at the time.
"They knew we were promoted, and knew I probably wouldn't be home," said SMG member "Mac Chris." "It had to be somebody close."
Chris said his cousin was asleep in the home when the thieves broke in.
"They said they were going to kill her if she moved or didn't keep her hands up," Chris said, adding that his cousin was held at gunpoint. No one was hurt.
Police are still searching for the suspects and the equipment.
