ROSWELL, Ga. -- Thrifty brides have a new resource in Roswell:  I Do and I'm Done.

It's the brainchild of Maria Walden-Sullivan, a local philanthropist who also owns the consignment boutique Vintage and Vogue.

I Do and I'm Done carries new, used and vintage dresses for a fraction of what they'd cost regular retail.

"I think there's a huge need for dresses that have only been worn once or never at all," Sullivan said.

The dresses are either donated by local women or sold on consignment with the option of giving 40 percent of the selling prices to one of six local charities. "That's our focus, to get people more into giving back to the community and get into the philanthropic side of the business," Sullivan added.

Sullivan partners with local design students who update and revamp some of the older dresses.

I Do and I'm Done is located at 343 Park Square. The phone number is 678-218-3663.

The charities that benefit from the store include Wellspring, The Partnership against Domestic Violence and the Orange Duffel Bag Foundation.
