Atlanta -- Summer Day Camp programs can be as priced as low as $35 per week or as high as several hundred.
Here are some affordable options that still have spots open:
Atlanta's Camp Best Friends is held at various locations around the city. Tuition is $35 per week for Atlanta residents and financial aid is also available for those who qualify.
The Fulton County Arts Council has summer Arts Camps for as little as $85 a week. There are several different locations. Some weeks are already full but others have availability.
Also, check out the local church day camp programs. Many are open to the public and less expensive than private camps.
Your local YMCA is also an option. There are many day camp options in the $150 a week range and there are scholarship options as well. A spokeswoman for the Metro Atlanta YMCA says scholarships will be available throughout the summer.
And don't forget the deal sites like Groupon, LivingSocial.com, HalfOffDepot.com and Famgrab.com. Last minute camp deals are often featured on these sites.
