LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles County Sheriff's investigators want to talk to Justin Bieber following a scuffle the pop star got into with a photographer on Sunday at a shopping center in Calabasas, Calif.
According to Sheriff's Lt. Robert Wiard, a paparazzo was trying to take a picture of Bieber and his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, as they walked out of a theater at The Commons mall on Sunday, reports AP. Bieber got physical, and after the star couple left, the photographer called 911 and complained of pain to his chest. Wiard says the photographer was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released.
Bieber and Gomez left before deputies arrived. Investigators now want to get his side of the story.
TMZ reports that witnesses say the photog had been blocking Bieber's car as the singer was trying to leave the mall. The star got out of the car and asked the guy to move away but he wouldn't, and that's when the scuffle happened.
Bieber's only comment came a few hours ago on Twitter when he wrote: "gonna focus on the important stuff. the music."
And, he added, ?"#DieInYourArms? hits ITUNES in less than ?#24HOURS? - ?#BELIEVE?" According to his Twitter account, he is traveling to Oslo to begin promo work for his Believe album, which arrives June 19.
