LUBBOCK, Texas -- A 1-year-old girl is lucky to be alive after being ejected from an SUV in a dramatic crash that was caught on tape in Lubbock, Texas.
Minutes before the crash, police said four teenagers between the ages of 14 and 17 robbed a 19-year-old woman in a restaurant parking lot.
The 19 year old called police as the teens took off with her purse in the SUV, which police said was also stolen.
Officers caught up with the SUV. Their dash camera captured it flipping several times and the toddler being tossed out in the crash.
Miraculously the little girl picked herself up afterwards and stumbled a bit before being scooped up by one of the teens. Police said her parents were among the four suspects.
The suspects were charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, evading arrest and other crimes. The toddler was treated for minor injuries and is reportedly in the care of other relatives.
