AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Two of the victims of the Auburn shootings were remembered by family and friends at separate funeral services.

Services were held Friday for former Auburn University football player Ladarious Phillips and DeMario Pitts.

The 20-year-old Phillips was remembered for his ever-present smile. Pitts, also 20-years-old, was known for always lending a hand.

Auburn coach Gene Chizik, members of the football team and residents attended Phillips' service in Roanoke. Pitts' service was held in Loachapoka.

Phillips, Pitts and Ed Christian - another former Auburn football player - were killed and three others wounded Saturday night at a pool party at an apartment complex.

The service for Christian is at 1 p.m. Saturday in Valdosta, Ga.

Demonte Leonard is in jail on capital murder and assault charges.
